In Goethe’s Faust, Lynkeus is the character who stands on top of the lookout tower, he who ‘was born to see’. The mission of Lynkeus Srl is to look far afield to where a reinvention of relations between organisations is imposed both by new technologies and by socio-economic factors.

Founded in 2000, Lynkeus undertakes Strategy Consulting and Research in the sectors of e-Government and e-Business. The company offers its services both to public-sector management and to private organisations, and specialises in long-term forecasting and policy advice.

The increasingly specific nature of new technology offers important opportunities for transition towards new organisational and operational systems of the kind that Lynkeus specialises in designing and planning.

Created through the joint efforts of CER and CENSIS, two Italian research centres of recognised authority, catalysed by a group of highly qualified scholars and professionals from the worlds of high technology and academia, and drawing upon international partnerships at the highest levels for state-of-the-art technical know-how, Lynkeus is uniquely positioned to identify the best possible synthesis of cutting-edge technological solutions and complex socio-economic aims.
